The Almencard Gitschberg Jochtal offers our guests in the Gitschberg Jochtal holiday region a special kind of service: action, adventure, mobility, mountain railways and variety for the whole family with a unique adventure card.

Your advantage card (also called South Tyrol Guest Pass) will be sent directly to your e-mail address by the establishment of your choice. If you prefer a printed copy, or do not have access to your e-mail, they can print it out and hand it to you when you check in. Your advantage card is valid for the entire duration of your stay, from midnight on the day of arrival until 11:59 pm on the day of departure.

Please note:

  • The South Tyrol Guest Pass Almencard/Mobilcard is a personal, non-transferable ticket.
  • The advantage cards are gifted to all guests from the age of six. Children under six years travel for free.
  • The card must be validated at the beginning of each journey by scanning its QR code at a designated validator. The validation is confirmed by a sound signal and an OK message on the display. Please be aware that validation for train journeys must be done before boarding. If no green OK sign is displayed, the card is not validated for the journey.
  • Please download your Guest Pass to your smartphone, take a screenshot or add it to your digital wallet, so you can use it even without a mobile signal.
  • Public transport vehicles equipped to transport passengers in wheelchairs and small children in prams are specifically indicated.
  • Transport of bicycles on regional trains and buses is allowed subject to space and the availability of bike racks, and can be paid for using the day ticket (separate tickets are required on lift facilities).
  • Transport of service dogs and pets small enough to be held in the arm or in a carrier no larger than 70 x 30 x 50 cm is free of charge. A single ticket is required for all other animals. Dogs must wear a muzzle and be kept on a lead.
  • Transport of pets on the Gitschberg and Jochtal lifts requires a separate ticket, as well as use of muzzle and lead. Service dogs are transported for free.
